Kevin R. Lowell

Senior Vice President, Information Technology
As senior vice president of information technology, Kevin ensures the company’s information systems support a first-class wireless experience for customers. His organization provides the foundational capabilities necessary for frontline associates to serve customers and for the delivery of products and services. Kevin oversees all areas of information technology, including application development and delivery, infrastructure, enterprise analytics and cybersecurity.
Kevin joined U.S. Cellular in 2003, and prior to his current position he served as vice president of engineering and network operations. In that role he was responsible for ensuring the superior quality of U.S. Cellular’s high-speed network so that customers have an excellent wireless experience.
Prior to joining U.S. Cellular, Kevin held various leadership positions for Sprint PCS, including director of network field operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles. He additionally has a master’s degree in Human and Organization Development and a doctorate in Organizational Development and Change from Fielding University in Santa Barbara, Calif.
