Jason Lund


Jason Lund is a 30-year real estate executive that has served in three global platforms, CBRE, Colliers International and JLL.  He has led geographic regions as well as multiple service lines.  Beginning in the valuations sector of commercial real estate, Mr. Lund obtained his MAI designation and was a top five producer nationally as a valuer within the CBRE organization for five years consecutively.  Transitioning to leadership within the Colliers International organization, Mr. Lund initially led the Orange County, CA office and then expanded his geographical oversight to the Southwestern United States within his first two years.  Additionally, Mr. Lund represented the Western United States on the Colliers global valuations leadership group which included the presidents of the Canadian, LATAM, APAC and EMEA regions.  CBRE recruited Mr. Lund back to the Americas valuations platform to oversee Americas business development both to large institutional clients within the US and to develop business within the larger CBRE platform among others service lines.  From 2017 to the end of 2019 Mr. Lund was asked to salvage a division acquired by CBRE in 2014 that was losing market share.  From 2017 to end of year results in 2019, annual revenue increased by $13M (a 29% increase) with an increase in EBITDA exceeding 30%.  Additionally, nearly all leadership was transitioned during this time and the number of total employees within this group was maintained at roughly 260 professionals, demonstrating the increase in profitability and efficiency.  A sub-group within the larger division led by Mr. Lund was created focused on technology consulting for real estate.  In promoting this group over two-years, Mr. Lund led multiple client conferences of over 100 participants, spoke nationally and internationally on the topic of commercial real estate and technology and is currently on the advisory board of a non-profit entity, Building Cyber Security, that is developing a standard for defining “cyber secure” for adoption by commercial real estate and other devices.  In his current role at JLL, Mr. Lund was asked to begin a new service line “Technology Infrastructure” focused exclusively on the hardware within buildings that enables and creates connectivity and revenue for clients.
